Dr. D is a new digital production studio created by Academy Award winning producers George Miller and Doug Mitchell in partnership with the Omnilab Media Group. It's a permanent Australian studio, attracting the best talent from here and around the world to craft fine, entertaining stories.

So what makes Dr. D what it is?

We're multidisciplinary. We not only have digital artists, but actors, physicists, sculptors, geneticists, stunt performers, surgeons, writers and ping pong champions as part of our team. We like to engage people who are interested in things outside of the movies (and, of course, love movies too!)

We're collaborative. Everyone talks to everyone else, and when it's hard for that to happen we try to work out why and make it easier for them.

We're new, but we have quite a history as well. The Mapp family's Omnilab Media Group is Australia's largest film services company, with worldwide resources that cover every aspect of production. Kennedy Miller Mitchell is Australia's most successful production company, having created stories and characters that are loved around the globe.

We're an original voice. We're not trying to be anyone else. We've got great people and big ideas and we intend to share bold, engaging, exciting stories with the world.

We're all about quality. We want our audiences to have the best experience we can create for them. We want you to love our stories as much as we do.

We don't consider ourselves an animation studio. Well, we do, but we're other things as well. We're not stuck to one style, toolset or medium and if we were to define ourselves we would say we are......Storytellers.
